You may already be aware that the fourth episode of Blue Bloods season 12 is titled “True Blue” – but what’s next? Leading up to today’s “Blue Bloods” new episode, it looks that Commissioner’s Aide Abigail Baker is aware of something going on. Baker, played by Abigail Hawk, appears in this preview for the CBS police drama’s next episode. Brian Baker, a police officer of the New York Police Department, is Abigail Baker’s husband. On the show, Jarid Faubel portrays him. What makes this story so complicated is that it is quite straightforward: Jamie will have to deal with the underground bar in some way. Furthermore, what will Eddie do if Witten decides to leave the force? We know she’s working hard to become a Sergeant, but there’s no guarantee she’ll succeed.

Blue Bloods Episode 1204 Synopsis:– Jamie faces backlash from fellow officers when he partners with Erin and Anthony to investigate an underground bar the NYPD and FDNY use to hide their criminal indiscretions. Also, Eddie’s partner, Witten, considers leaving the force; Danny and Baez investigate a student’s murder at a prestigious private school, and Frank addresses an issue of police brutality regarding Baker’s husband.

Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 3 Recap

While Danny and Baez look for their next case, Frank Reagan is about to change employment. It has something to do with the tragic death of Ziad, a food delivery agent. Because his wife and kid were unable to contact him, they reported him missing, and he was later discovered dead. Sean needs to write a report, so he asks for permission to hang out with two female cops. Lenny Ross, Frank’s old friend, approaches him with an offer. He is being considered for a position as Senior Vice President of Security by the NFL. Frank is understandably taken aback by the offer, while Danny and Maria discover that the proprietor of Punjabi Kitchen had close relations to Ziad. His death is linked to the owner’s SUV, which is parked outside. Sean sees a domestic disturbance but gets struck by a scooter and attacked by the driver. While Sean is in the hospital, Eddie meets up with Danny, who discloses that Sean was never authorized to participate in the inquiry. He tries to explain himself during dinner, but Danny refuses to listen. He and Baez crack the case, and it turns out that the dead man’s son is the one who killed his father. Frank considers accepting Lenny’s employment offer before the episode ends, but finally decides against it.

  • Blue Bloods season 12 is in full swing.
  • As much as fans anticipated the show, though, many are unimpressed with (and downright confused by) the second episode.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

If you tuned into the second episode of Blue Bloods last Friday night, then you, like many people, may be scratching your head at how a few scenes were handled. Namely, the ominous envelope and Eddie’s (Vanessa Ray) sketchy behavior.

As a refresher, Anthony (Steve Schirripa) went from Reagan to Reagan with a blank manila envelope that, once he revealed what was inside, nobody wanted anything to do with it — until Pop (Len Cariou), that is. And, in a simultaneous turn of events, Eddie lied straight to Jamie’s (William Estes) face about how she ended up in a downtown hospital.

In both cases, the end result wasn’t nearly as earth-shattering as the scenarios made them seem (the envelope contained an Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) for District Attorney campaign sticker and Eddie was studying to take the NYPD sergeant’s exam). Because of this, many fans felt a bit confused (and even betrayed) by the way the stories were framed.

“I wasn't so crazy about this episode,” one fan admitted in the comment section of a recent Blue Bloods Instagram post. “The issue between Frank and the mayor over the public nuisance charge was silly. Erin's story was unclear. The Eddy/Jamie situation was strangely handled too. Just my opinion. I'll be back next week.”

“Didn't they just have an election of the current DA?” one fan asked, voicing the confusion of many. “I don't get it. Who made up the sticker?” someone else asked.

“Considering the way Danny and Jamie acted when they saw it, I thought it was a picture of Jack with some woman that would really upset Erin, not a sticker of something that she wants,” another fan shared. “It's good that Pops didn't hesitate. Glad I'm not the only one who didn't get it. (Pops playing senile when Anthony showed up cracked me up!)”

Then, on one of Vanessa Ray’s Instagram posts showcasing a snippet from the episode, fans went wild over the episode’s insinuation that Eddie was cheating. Even Donnie Wahlberg (who plays Danny Reagan) wasn’t impressed.

This content is imported from Instagram. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site.

“Yo!!! WTH??!! Is Eddie cheating on Jamie? If not, then why the heck is Jamie snooping in her phone?!?! I’m so confused and troubled by this scene,” he commented on her post, accompanied by a crying face and broken heart emoji.

“Don’t be messing with me Jameko,” one fan wrote, sharing the sentiment. “This clip stresses me outttttt,” another fan commented. “NO WAY! Eddie wouldn’t cheat,” someone else exclaimed.

Which ultimately goes to say, for every negative comment about the most recent episode of Blue Bloods, loyal fans are showing up and out on social media to support the series and its characters. Still, here’s hoping that the next episode is a little less tricky as to what’s going on.

Blue Bloods Season 12 Changes EVERYTHING.. Here's Why!

The Primetime Emmy Award-winning police procedural series is returning soon for Blue Bloods Season 12. And the following season kicks off with the premiere episode, Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 1 titled “Hate is Hate,” which will showcase a reunion at the dinner table. Fans have been patiently waiting for the show to return after a spine-chilling two-hour finale of the last season. In addition, a big face-off is building up for Frank against his familiar rival, Mayor Chase. So what happens next in Blue Bloods? Keep reading ahead to find out.

Blue Bloods follows the Reagans. A family who has dedicated their lives to New York Law Enforcement for generations. In the last season, Joe got abducted, and the team kept on looking for him throughout the season. However, at the finale, Joe came out from the dead surprising everyone. However, Hill might not appear as a regular next season. Hopefully, fans will see a different role for Joe’s character in the storyline this season.

Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 1: What’s Next?

CBS has released the newest promo last week, revealing the scenes of a grand family dinner. In the trailer, we hear that violence on the streets increases rapidly after the pandemic, and civilians get hurt. And when Frank is asked for the solution, he points out that having open communication works as the Raegan family does. To which Danny suggests Frank talks, and the rest of them listen. However, Frank’s words might tease the big talk in Blue Blood Season 12 Episode 1 for Mayor Chase.

As per the press release, in “Hate is Hate,” the stress level is about to increase between Frank and Mayor Chase when a public arrest made by Frank goes public. Further, Danny and Baez’s investigation on gang attacks will take some unforeseen turns in season 12. Also, Anthony will try to secretly recruit the Reagans to help him plan a surprise for Erin. Meanwhile, Jamie is worried about Eddie lying to him about where she goes in the evenings.

In the last season, Frank had a skirmish with Mayor Chase involving Sid Gormley and Garret Moore. The mayor was ready to make Sid a scapegoat after backlash from the public regarding his police record. Lucky for Sid, Frank intervened, and he managed to save his job. Further, the mayor thought Frank needed someone rock-hearted and tried to replace Garrett Moore by luring him with another job offer. However, Frank made sure that Garrett stayed.

Who Will Return?

In the upcoming run, fans will see Tom Selleck as Frank Regan, Len Cariou as Henry Reagan, Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, Bridget Moynahan as Erin Reagan, and Will Estes as Jamie Reagan. Further, Marisa Ramirez as Maria Baez, Vanessa Ray as Eddie Jank, Sami Gayle as Nicole Raegan Boyle, and Will Hochman as Joe Hill will also return for season 12. In addition, Dylan Walsh will guest star as Mayor Chase.

Similar news:

Blue Bloods will be back with new episodes soon, and we can't wait to see what season 12 has in store for the Reagan family. The two-hour season 11 finale saw the jaw-dropping return of Joe Hill (Will Hochman), and fans are so excited for the next chapter of the police drama when it returns on October 1.

Luckily, CBS released some photos from the season 12 premiere episode, titled "Hate Is Hate," and the episode synopsis sounds intense. It reads: "As Danny consults a psychic to solve the murder of a young boy, Frank is at odds with the mayor over how best to protect the city from an uptick in crime following a high-profile shooting. Also, Erin investigates a decades-old case in which the primary eyewitness to the killing is her boss, D.A. Kimberly Crawford, who was 13 years old at the time."

Needless to say, we can't wait to see how this plays out. But in the meantime, we're breaking down the newly-released photos for clues. Here's what we know:

Danny and Baez Are Back on the Case

John Paul Filo/2021 cbs broadcasting inc

Ah, there's comfort in seeing our favorite duo sharing the screen! In this photo, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) seem to be talking to a bystander at a crime scene. Some fans are crossing their fingers that Danny and Baez will end up together, but we're just happy to see them working a case!

Frank Confronts the Mayor

John Paul Filo/2021 cbs broadcasting inc

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) has been at odds with Mayor Peter Chase (Dylan Walsh) since his election in season 10, and this meeting between the two looks to be all business. Their tense conversation is likely about the city's crime statistics, a storyline we expect to continue for season 12.

Erin Digs Into the Past

John Paul Filo/2021 cbs broadcasting inc

Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) presents a case file to her boss, D.A. Kimberly Crawford (Roslyn Ruff). Erin is going to need D.A. Crawford's help to solve a cold case that she witnessed as a child decades ago.

The Family Gathers Around the Dinner Table

John Paul Filo/2021 cbs broadcasting inc

We're so relieved to see one of the show's staples is back: the Reagan family dinner. By the looks of these photos, we're expecting some laughs and lighthearted moments from the family. We love to see Tom Selleck crack a smile!

Will Joe Hill Be Back?

After the exciting season 11 finale, fans will likely be looking for glimpses of Joe Hill (Will Hochman). Unfortunately, he's not seen in any of the season 12 premiere photos. But executive producer Kevin Wade gives us hope of Joe's return. He told TV Insider that, while he likely won’t be around full-time in season 12, “we’d like to be able to weave him in and out of stories.”

We'll be parked in front of the TV on Friday nights to see what happens!
