Sussex Auto Accidents

The state of Delaware is divided into three countries: New Castle County, Kent County and Sussex County.

The southernmost county in Delaware, Sussex County is also The First State’s largest county in terms of square mileage. Though it’s the biggest in terms of area, it’s less populated than its neighboring counties to the north.

Most of the roads in Sussex County – particularly those on its western side – are rural country roads. The county’s eastern side is the most heavily populated area, especially in the summertime. That’s because people from all around – places like Maryland, DC, New York and Pennsylvania – vacation in Sussex County.

With all of the traffic into an out of Sussex County, and with many of the drivers being unfamiliar with the area, the potential for car accidents is high.

If you or a loved one was injured in a car accident in Sussex County, consider enlisting the services of a local lawyer who will make sure you get the compensation you deserve.

Rahaim, Saints & Walstrom: Your Sussex County Car Accident Lawyers

At Rahaim, Saints & Walstrom, our attorneys will work to make sure you get the compensation you deserve should you find yourself in a car accident in Sussex County, Delaware. With more than 30 years of experience, you will benefit from personalized and professional service.

We handle accident claims that occur in the following areas:

  • Georgetown, Delaware
  • Lewes, Delaware
  • Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
  • Milford, Delaware
  • Milton, Delaware
  • Seaford, Delaware
  • Bethany Beach, Delaware
  • Dewey Beach, Delaware

Though the roads in Sussex County are generally less congested than other roads spread across The First State, they are also smaller and narrower than other roads. This means that the potential for car accidents remains just as high as it is in other parts of the county.

In more rural areas, there are more two-lane roads. As such, the potential for head-on collisions that occur at high rates of speed increases. Generally speaking, accidents that occur in rural areas are the result of cars traveling fast. While low-speed collisions still happen in these areas from time to time, they are not as common as they are in highly congested areas.
