Christian Eckes Leads Historic 1-2-3-4 Finish for ThorSport Racing: For the second consecutive week the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series crowned a first-time winner. Christian Eckes, a 20-year old New York native, took the lead on a final restart with four laps remaining to claim his first trophy and lead a historic 1-2-3-4 finish for the ThorSport Racing team.(Read More)(9-24-2021)
#98-Christian Eckes won the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 presented by Westgate Resorts NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Friday night. Eckes took the lead with a three-wide pass following a restart with four laps to go. The caution flag waved again on the last lap for a wreck, ending the race under yellow, allowing Eckes to nab his first career victory.
#99-Ben Rhodes, #88-Matt Crafton, #13-Johnny Sauter followed, giving ThorSport Racing the top four finishing positions.
#38-Todd Gilliland, #52-Stewart Friesen, #9-Grant Enfinger, #22-Austin Wayne Self, #40-Ryan Truex, and #16-Austin Hill were the rest of the top-10.
#38-Gilliland won Stage 2 and led the most laps of the night, pacing 66 of the 134.
Many Playoff drivers had troubles throughout the night. Pole-sitter and Stage 1 winner, #4-John Hunter Nemechek had power issues. #21-Zane Smith suffered a flat tire while battling Nemechek for position, but also had issues with a battery. #2-Sheldon Creed and #18-Chandler Smith were involved in a frightening crash. Both were okay. On lap 127 #42-Carson Hocevar spun while attempting to drop to pit road for a flat tire. He was then penalized by NASCAR for intentionally bringing out the yellow and was held a lap on pit road.
There were 14 lead changes among 11 drivers and 10 cautions for 39 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 105.358 mph.

Race truck las 2021 vegas
The NASCAR Truck Series heads to Las Vegas on Friday to open the second round of its playoff series. The round of eight opens with the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200, starting at 9 p.m. ET on FS1. The race will be available for live stream on FOX Live and through the Bally Sports app.
John H. Nemechek leads the playoff points race following the first three races of the round of ten drivers. He won five races during the regular to run up a sizable lead. Sheldon Creed, who has the pole position for this race, is in second and has all the momentum after winning two of the three races in the first round.
Nemechek is the favorite to win Friday’s race at DraftKings Sportsbook, installed at +320. Creed follows at +450 and then Zane Smith (+800), Austin Hill (+900), and Chandler Smith (+1000). Hill has won this race each of the past two years. Grant Enfinger (+2500) won the inaugural race in 2018.

LAS VEGAS – Christian Eckes led the final four laps to score his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win Friday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
He lead a 1-2-3-4 finish for ThorSport Racing. Ben Rhodes was second, followed by teammates Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter. Todd Gilliland completed the top five.

POINTS REPORT
A wild night that saw five of the eight remaining playoff drivers either not finish or finish multiple laps down led a big changes in the points.
Ben Rhodes took the points from John Hunter Nemechek after placing second. Nemechek finished 33rd.
Rhodes leads Nemechek by six points.
Stewart Friesen, who entered the race last among the eight playoff drivers, is third in the standings after Friday’s race. He leads Matt Crafton by four points. Crafton holds the final transfer spot with two races left in the round.
