As the birthplace of eight U.S. presidents and carrying a long history of its sons and daughters leaving school to serve in the federal government, Virginia’s public school systems are held to a high standard of academic excellence. Luckily, the state boasts some of the finest public school divisions (the term used to denote subsections of schools in Virginia, rather than “school district”) in the country.

Virginia’s top school division is Falls Church City Public Schools, administering five schools serving the Washington, D.C. suburb. FCCPS has an excellent, well earned reputation for academic excellence, recently boasting an on-time graduation rate of 100% and SAT scores over 200 points higher than the state average.

At #2 we have Arlington Public Schools, a large school division of over 30 schools and an enrollment topping 25K serving Arlington County, VA, which sits across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. Students of this affluent county are known for their diversity, hailing from 122 nations and able to speak over 100 languages.

Ranking third is Loudoun Public Schools, a massive school division with enrollment topping 80K headquartered in Ashburn, VA. 2017 witnessed 40 LCPS students becoming National Merit Semifinalists.

Fairfax County Public Schools, the largest school division in the country, boasting an enrollment of over 180,000, ranks #4.

York County School Division, a modestly sized (for Virginia), yet high-performing school division, is #5. At 95.4%, YCSD’s 2017 graduation rate was over 4 points above Virginia’s already excellent statewide average.

Niche looked at more than 94,000 public schools, 4,100 private schools and nearly 11,000 school districts across the country. The rankings are meant to help parents and students find schools that best fit their needs.

"Unlike traditional school rankings, which rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance, Niche's rankings provide a real-life view of what it's like to attend a given school," the company said in a news release.

Comments from current students, alumni, and parents are included in the analysis, as well as observations about things like campus life, extracurricular activities, sports options, diversity, and programs for gifted and special needs students.

"Parents and students need more than test-score data," Luke Skurman, CEO at Niche, said in the news release. "They need to understand what it's really like to attend a school before they start the application or registration process."

Virginia is the birthplace of eight Presidents, which is more than any other state in the country. Clearly, these school districts have the results to back up their hard work.

Fairfax County Public Schools earn top spot in Virginia. This district is the 10th largest by student body size in the entire country. Students have opportunities for advanced placement classes to challenge themselves and 89% of graduates end up seeking higher education.

In 2nd place is Prince William County Public Schools. Students in this district have unique access to specialized programs and academies including The Biotechnology Center, The Center for Fine and Performing Arts, The Center for Information Technology, and more.

Loudoun County Public Schools takes 3rd place. This is the fastest growing school district in Virginia and students have achieved impressive results in this district. ACT exam scores are 5 points higher than the national average and 2 points higher than the state average. 95% of Loudoun county students graduate on-time, and about 80% continue their education after high school.

In 4th place is Virginia Beach City Public Schools. This district offers students a wide array of programs and academies including a STEM and Technology Academy, a Health Sciences Academy, a Legal Studies Academy, and a Visual and Performing Arts Academy.

Rounding out the top 5 is Chesterfield County Public Schools. This district includes two Governor’s schools, a number of specialty programs to prepare students for college or work, and high performing test scores across the board.

The following contributed to the ranking: number of students (K-12), graduation rate, teacher quality, school funding, student to teacher ratio, standardized test results (reading and math; the percentage of students scoring at or above state proficiency level). Data from a total of 10,728 school districts had sufficient values for the variables above.

I ask your companion to come with me. In the meantime, get some fresh air. Those who find it hard to stand can go under a canopy on I didn't have to rest for a long. Time and come to my senses.

Now discussing:

On the one hand, admitting a third participant in the fantasies, I felt such a feeling of jealousy that I was torn apart by. Anger, on the other hand, all this caused such a surge of strength and emotions. But gradually excitement won out over jealousy. I clearly understood that I wanted to fulfill my fantasy.
