Fortnite Week 10 challenges: How to wrap up all of the weekly milestones in Season 4 Week 10

Normally the Fortnite Week 10 challenges would signal that the season was coming to an end, though we already know that it'll be towards the end of November at least before things officially wrap up. After some confusion where several of these Fortnite challenges were linked to last week's list in error, hopefully we're now getting back on track. As well as visiting some locations that haven't featured before, there are several vehicle-based assignments so get ready to put the pedal to the metal. If you're after some advice on the best way to complete these tasks in Fortnite, then we have information on the quickest boat route from The Fortilla to The Authority, where to find the Heart Lake, and everything else you need for the Fortnite Week 10 challenges.

Fortnite Awakening challenges | Fortnite Wolverine challenges | Fortnite Fortnitemares challenges

Fortnite Week 10 challenges Season 4

  • Search Chests at Upstate New York (7)
  • Eliminations at Lazy Lake (3)
  • Collect Metal from Slurpy Swamp (200)
  • Catch fish at Heart Lake (7)
  • Eliminate opponents by hitting them with vehicles (1)
  • Drive a boat from The Fortilla to The Authority in less than 4 minutes (1)
  • Ride 20,000 meters in a vehicle [Rec: 4 Players] (20,000)

Here's all of the individual details you should know while you're taking on the full list of seven Fortnite Week 10 challenges in Season 4:

Search Chests at Upstate New York (7)

If you didn't know it already, Fortnite Upstate New York is the large darkened circular area on the map north of Stark Industries, which gives you plenty of places to look for chests to search. Chests in Stark Industries also count towards this challenge, if you don't want to go looking around.

Eliminations at Lazy Lake (3)

As Lazy Lake is in the middle of a group of Named Locations towards the southeast of the island, you'll often find players around there to target for your eliminations. If you're having difficulty reaching your target, play Team Rumble mode until the circle closes around this area.

Collect Metal from Slurpy Swamp (200)

Handily there is plenty of metal to be collected in Slurpy Swamp to the southwest, thanks to all the Slurp vats, machinery, and walkways around the factory. To speed up the process, try this in Team Rumble as you harvest a larger amount of mats in that mode.

Catch fish at Heart Lake (7)

You'll find the Fortnite Heart Lake to the northeast of Stark Industries, and to catch fish there you'll need to visit one of the lake houses around the shore to grab a rod from their jetties, then cast into fishing spots on the water until you get your required haul.

Eliminate opponents by hitting them with vehicles (1)

This could be a tricky challenge, as once you're in one of the Fortnite cars you only have a limited amount of fuel to drive around looking for opponents to ram. Stark Industries has a number of fast cars around which are good for hitting people with, though you'll need to watch out for Stark Robots and Iron Man himself in that area. Sadly, eliminating NPCs with a vehicle doesn't count for this.

Drive a boat from The Fortilla to The Authority in less than 4 minutes (1)

Once you've collected one of the Fortnite motorboats from The Fortilla in the southwest corner of the map, your best route is to head around the north side of Slurpy Swamp, then follow the river up through Weeping Woods and onwards east under the bridge to The Authority. Use plenty of boost along the way, and you should have no trouble making this trip within the time limit.
Note that boats are currently not spawning in Fortnitemares mode, so if that is still active you'll need to head to Team Rumble for this challenge.

Ride 20,000 meters in a vehicle [Rec: 4 Players] (20,000)

This is quite a large total distance to cover, though you can share progress with your teammates in Duos or Squads. Cars tend to run out of fuel quite quickly, but boats can be sailed as far as you like and also count towards that distance.

Secret Battle Stars

Fortnite season 10 end

Developer Epic Games has changed how challenges work in Fortniteseason 10, aka season X. Instead of daily challenges, there are Limited Time Mission Objectives that unlock a new objective every day. Weekly challenges are now simply the Battle Pass Missions, which, as the name states, are available for season 10 Battle Pass owners. Completing missions will unlock additional content and earn Battle Stars to reach tier 100 on the pass.

Another big change in Fortnite's new season is the inclusion of Prestige missions. Once a set of challenges is completed, players can choose to redo the tasks. Each mission will consist of a similar requirement, though at a higher difficulty.

Last Stop Challenges

Fortnite Last Stop challenges

For week 10, Epic gave players some relief as the season comes to a close by only releasing a set of daily challenges and no Battle Pass challenges. The Last Stop missions will unlock over the course of the next seven days. Each day will have a new mission to complete. Rewards for completing these tasks include experience points, Battle Stars and a loading screen that hints to a hidden Battle Star.

  • Deal 500 damage with suppressed weapons to opponents
  • Outlast 150 opponents in Solo or Squads mode
  • 5 Assault Rifle eliminations
  • Search 7 Chests at Loot Lake or Happy Hamlet
  • Land at Lucky Landing or Retail Row in 3 different matches
  • Search 5 ammo boxes in a single match
  • Visit 10 different named locations

Zone Wars challenges

Fortnite Zone Wars challenges

Zone Wars is a new limited time mode for Fortnite that went live on Friday. Games are set in community-created maps and designed for quick matches reminiscent to late-game battle royale matches. With the new mode is a set of challenges available for players:

  • Play 5 Zone Wars matches
  • Get 10 eliminations in Zone Wars matches
  • Deal 1,000 damage to opponents with Assault Rifles in Zone Wars
  • Deal 1,000 damage to opponents with Shotguns in Zone Wars
  • Gain 500 Health or Apply Shields in Zone Wars
  • Build 250 structures in Zone Wars

Players have until Oct. 7 to complete all of the challenges and receive the Zone Wars style.

Welcome to Gotham City challenges

Fortnite Gotham City challenges

Fortnite X Batman started Saturday and has its own set of Batman-themed challenges that are available until Oct. 1. The reward for completing all the tasks is the Catwoman glider.

Deal 250 damage to opponents with an Explosive Batarang

Explosive Batarangs are one of the two new items available during the Fortnite X Batman event. Batarangs can be found all across the island and act as grenades. Find some and throw them at other players to rack up the damage for this task.

Light up three different Bat Signals outside of Gotham City

Fortnite Bat Signal

Players can visit the mini-Gotham City to see an activated Bat Signal, but for this challenge, they'll need to find the other signals found outside of the new zone. Get close to one to see the activation prompt and activate three to complete the challenge. See the map below on where to find them.

Fortnite bat signal map

Use a Batman Grapnel Gun in three different matches

Like the Explosive Batarang, the Grapnel Gun is found across the map during this event. Batman's trademark item will zip players to whatever spot the grappling hook connects to.

Defuse Joker gas canisters found in three different named locations

It wouldn't be a proper Batman crossover without the Joker. Gas canisters decorated by the Joker are found in the various points of interest on the island. Keep your ears open for the beeping that lets you know one is nearby.

Deal any damage to opponents within 30 seconds of using a Batman Grapnel Gun

A simple task. Use the Grapnel Gun and make sure to take a shot at any players nearby.

Light a Bat Signal, use a Batman Grapnel Gun and deal any damage with an Explosive Batarang

Another straightforward challenge. The only difficult part is to get both the Grapnel Gun and Explosive Batarang in a match, since they're hard-to-find items.

Rewards for completing challenges include new loading screens that offer a hint to a hidden Battle Star located somewhere on the island. These stars won't appear unless you've completed all the challenges for the week.

Fortnite Week 1 loading screen

The hint in this screen is the scratching above the character's head, which shows D2, D3, E2, E3. This represents a particular spot on the map, which is to the southeast of the Block. Look for a patch of dirt on a hill, and if you've completed all of the challenges for week 1, the hidden Battle Star will appear.

Fortnite battle star week 1

The week 2 loading screen's hint is in the top left of the image. The knife and fork represent the holes in the ground with similar shapes found between Fatal Fields and Salty Springs. The hidden Battle Star is between the two holes and will appear once all of the week 2 challenges are done.

Fortnite week 2 loading screen

Week 3's loading screen features the Leftovers, and the secret to finding this Battle Star is the bus in the background.

Fortnite season 10 week 3 loading screen

On the truck is the mascot of the Softdeez ice cream shop. The shop is found across the street from the racetrack in Paradise Palms. If you completed all the challenges, the star will appear.

Fortnite week 3 battle star map

The clue in the week 4 loading screen is a little hard to see unless you increase the size of the image.

Fortnite week 4 loading screen

The stone at the right corner of the image shows four coordinates: I2, I3, J2 and J3. This spot is to the northeast of Sunny Steps. Walking to that location with all of the week's challenges completed will trigger the appearance of the hidden Battle Star.

Fortnite week 4 map

The week 5 loading screen is another hard-to-see clue. The secret is in the green slime on the left, which reads E78 and F78, which translates to the map coordinates of E7, E8, F7 and F8.

Fortnite season 10 week 5 loading screen

Head to the spot on the map below, and if you've completed all of the week's challenges, a hidden Battle Star will appear.

Fortnite Week 5 Secret Battle Star

Week 6's Battle Star clue is a little easier to see in comparison to previous weeks. In the loading screen, there is a faint Battle Star on the pier. Head to the small pond at Fatal Fields and the secret Battle Star will appear once you're close to the pier if all of the week's challenges have been completed.

Fortnite Week 6 Secret Battle Star

In the week 7 loading screen, the clue to the hidden Battle Star is really hard to see. In the background is a reflection of a taco. This is tied to the new taco restaurant in Greasy Grove. Go inside once all the week's challenges are done and the star will show up.

Fortnite week 7 loading screen

The week 8 loading screen goes back to hard-to-see coordinates. The llama head gargoyles protruding from the building have G2, G3, H2 and H3 etched on them.

Fortnite week 8 loading screen

The hidden star is near pools of water to the west of Sunny Steps. See the map below for where the Battle Star should appear if you completed all the week's challenges.

Fortnite week 8 map

For week 9, Epic introduced a new limited-time mode called the Combine. The unlockable loading screen for the week is inspired by the mode and has a clue at the top of the image.

Fortnite week 9 loading screen

In the image is a tomato head next to the down arrow. This refers to the Tomato Temples of Fortnite season 5. While those are long gone, there is one remaining temple to the west of Pressure Plant, and that's where the secret Battle Star is.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 10 Challenges Release Date

The new challenges will arrive on the 4th of February 2021 at 2PM GMT.

Week 10 Challenges

The full list of challenges has yet to be revealed, at the moment there is simply a placeholder for next week's challenges.

Leakers usually find the challenges in the game code a few days before they are released.

Here are the leaked challenges so far:

  • Destroy sofas, beds or chairs (0/20) - 55,000 XP
  • Destroy sofas, beds or chairs (0/40) - 22,000 XP
  • Destroy sofas, beds or chairs (0/60) - 22,000 XP
  • Destroy sofas, beds or chairs (0/80) - 22,000 XP
  • Destroy sofas, beds or chairs (0/100) - 22,000 XP
  • Use food consumables (0/3) - 20,000 XP
  • Eliminations with common weapons (0/1) - 20,000 XP
  • Go for a swim at Lazy Lake (0/1) - 20,000 XP
  • Dance near Pleasant Park (0/1) - 20,000 XP
  • Deal Melee Damage (0/300) - 20,000 XP
  • Upgrade Weapons (0/3) - 20,000 XP
  • Eliminate IO Guards (0/5) - 20,000 XP

Week 10 Challenges Guide

Destroy sofas, beds or chairs

This is a really easy challenge to complete as it is assisted by your teammates; so we advise playing in squads.

If you want to complete this fast, I would suggest heading to locations with lots of houses that will contain sofas, beds and chairs.

This includes Pleasant Park, Retail Row, Hunters Haven or Craggy Cliffs.

Simply use a pickaxe to destroy them!

Use food consumables

Another easy one to do - I would suggest dropping at either Frenzy Farm or Holly Hedges.

You'll find plenty of food consumables in these locations.

Eliminations with common weapons

You'll need to play a regular Battle Royale match to get a common weapon as they're not available in Team Rumble.

Go for a swim at Lazy Lake

Head to the lake at D7, south of Lazy Lake, and simply swim in it.

Dance near Pleasant Park

Pleasant Park is located between D2 and D3.

There's no specific location to dance, but we must assume anywhere around Pleasant Park will work.

Once there, simply emote and you'll complete the challenge.

Deal Melee Damage

A simple enough challenge - I would recommend doing this in Team Rumble.

It's easiest when you're respawning as you can drop on top of an opponent and melee them.

Upgrade Weapons

There's an NPC in Dirty Docks that will allow you to upgrade your weapons.

Head there and into the big building near the shoreline - speak to her and she will upgrade your weapon.

13 SECRETS in Fortnite Season 8 UPDATE!

Every Week 10 Challenge in Fortnite Season 5

Another week of new challenges is here in Fortnite Season 5 allowing players to quickly gain XP making it much easier to climb the Battle Pass to tier 100. Once again, these challenges aren't too difficult allowing any player to gain a large number of experience points, and this guide will lay out all seven Fortnite Season 5 Week 10 epic quests.

Related: Fortnite Galactus Skin Leaks Ahead Of Season 4 Nexus War Event

Every new week during a season of Fortnite, a new wave of challenges is unlocked. These challenges can range in difficulty and criteria, but they all serve one purpose: get the player to Battle Pass tier 100. Each challenge, no matter how small or difficult, will net players a large amount of XP that will boost them up a level or two. Eat a couple of mushrooms or apples: 20K XP. Eliminate 5 players with a grey pistol: 20k XP. When players start getting into the later weeks of a season, pending they haven't been keeping up with their weekly challenges, it can get pretty easy to climb the Battle Pass tiers in a short period of time.

Every Week 10 Challenge In Fortnite Season 5

Week 10 is no exception to this rule as Fortnite has added seven new challenges that are relatively easy and will reward the player with a total of 140K experience. This is by far one of the easiest weeks of challenges yet, and it doesn't follow a certain theme like weeks past. Players will be completing a hodge-podge of easy challenges in exchange for a few Battle Pass tiers. Here are the Fortnite Season 5 week 10 challenges:

  • Use Food Consumables x 3
  • Eliminations with common weapons x 1
  • Go for a swim in Lazy Lake
  • Dance near Pleasant Park
  • Deal Melee Damage x 300
  • Upgrade weapons x 3
  • Eliminate IO guards x 5

The most difficult challenges may be eliminating IO Guards or dealing 300 melee damage, but these pale in comparison to other weekly challenges. As for the five other challenges, two require the player to visit POIs without doing very much. Food consumables can be found in boxes at almost every location and can be scavenged at farms or in Weeping Woods. Screen Rant has a guide on where players can upgrade their weapons, and getting a single elimination with a common weapon shouldn't be too difficult. The most annoying part of these challenges is that they all have to be completed in different matches meaning players have to participate in at least seven rounds to complete all seven challenges.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 10 Challenge guide

Fortnite skins have taken on a life of their own since the game came out. Back in the early days, we couldn’t imagine spending money on a free game. Now, hundreds of dollars later, we’re still padding our lockers as collectors of in-game cosmetics.

Some skins tell a lot about the player wearing them. A Peely? They’re just trying to goof around and have some fun. A Dynamo? Sweat is probably pouring onto their keyboard at all times.

Today, we’re taking a look at the most hated skins in Fortnite – the skins that elicit an immediate reaction from opponents. You better be ready for some backlash if you post a clip while wearing one of these skins.

5. Female Soccer Skins

Female Soccer Skins have been hated ever since they first came out. This might have been the first “sweaty” skin to come to Fortnite, and it remains in the category to this day. However, it’s been made available in the Item Shop quite frequently so everyone from sweats to casuals owns it.

“Soccer skin” means more than just the skin that someone is wearing, at this point. It’s a term that longtime Fortnite players will likely remember for the rest of their gaming careers. However, because of its frequent item shop appearances, it’s last on the list.

fortnite soccer celebration

4. Custom Superhero Skins

These skins have cause quite a stir with players and have disrupted the competitive scene on more than one occasion. The actual name of these skins is Boundless, and they are among the most customizable skins in the game. Many players bought them for their versatility at first, but they were quickly abused by competitive players.

Players could set their skins to have an all-black or all-white color scheme which would make them harder to see. These color combos were banned from the game, but players still found a way to make their skins harder to see. This lead to these sweaty skins being banned outright in all competitive play.

3. Anime Skins

This category of skins is pretty new since “anime” skins were introduced in Chapter 2 Season 5. A bundle of anime skins was also released during Season 6 which contains some of the sweatiest and most hated Fortnite Skins.

Chigusa, Megumi, and Yuki are part of the Cyber Infiltration bundle, and Lexa was given to players who reached a certain level of the Season 5 Battle Pass. For some reason, players hate these cell-shaded skins and would rather face off against Soccer Skins.

2. Surf Witch

When we asked Twitter which skins they hated the most, a large number of responses included Surf Witch. It seems this skin is hated because it’s used by “sweats” and also because of its lackluster design.

Surf Witch’s design isn’t much different from many of the other female skins. In fact, she has a very similar design to Haze, a preexisting skin. Many players think that Surf Witch is a cheap rip off of Haze, and their hate is derived from their similarities.

1. Dynamo

Dynamo is – by far – the most hated skin in Fortnite, at the moment. If you post a clip while wearing the Dynamo skin, you’re guaranteed to see the bulk of your replies consist of something along the lines of, “Dynamo, ew.”

We’re not exactly sure why Dynamo has its status as the most hated skin in Fortnite. Perhaps, it’s because Dynamo a very sweaty skin that isn’t difficult to get. Unlike Crystal and Aura, a lot of players think Dynamo is, simply, a bad skin on top of the fact that it’s incredibly sweaty.

Whatever the reason, wearing a Dynamo skin puts a target on your back. If you hit the island wearing Dynamo, then you better be as good as the skin suggests you are.

Does this list mean that you shouldn’t be wearing these skins in Fortnite? Absolutely not. In fact, a lot of players like playing the role of an antagonist in all sorts of games. It can be fun. Wear whatever you want – these are just some of the skins that are in the community’s crosshairs at the moment. We’re sure that it will change in the future. Wear what you want and have fun!
