He is a member of many professional, dental organizations, and has served as the Dental Director at two facilities in Southbury – the Lutheran Home and Pomperaug Woods. He has enjoyed visiting the Region 15 elementary schools every year of his career to give a presentation for Children’s Dental Health Month (To quote Art Linkletter, “kids say the darndest things!”). Continuing education has always been a passion for Dr. Westerman. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, a national organization committed to continuing education. He earned his Fellowship in 1998 and is getting close to achieving Mastership, the highest level of achievement.
