The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only down side was the stage right outside. My room on the 9 th floor was right over the stage and the thumping went on until 2 am every night

I would not recommend staying here. Noise from freemont carries up to the room. Our water got shut off without notice, we were offered to switch rooms which we took however there were stains on the sheets of the new room. We were told we could access the stadium swim heated pool at Circa until 11, however when we wemt at 9pm they wouldnt let us in. Eveeyone seemed terribly inconvenienced by any question and i could rarely reach concierge. All in all highly disappointed in the property ans would not stay again

Easy to get navigate inside. No sit down breakfast restaurant and no refrigerator or coffee maker in room plus no table and only one chair was disappointed

I loved the amenities, and front seat access to Fremont street! We tried to get room refreshing done during our stay, but the room was never refreshed :( its okay though, im just sorry about our pile of garbage... Otherwise its an exciting location that feels like old vegas! We did hear the street events from our room, but it wasnt uncomfortable! It was exciting to be right in the action! They have a nice little convience store downstairs thats priced fairly! Lots of eateries, casinos, and things to do. 10/10 would recommend!

For the love of everything holy, use a better quality toilet paper. That sand paper you have is terrible. Weird showers and small square pillows. Other than that, had a great time. Would stay again for sure, but im bringing my own TP.

My room was given to another person after myself and my husband had checked in already. My husband stepped out for about 30 minutes while I showered. A man walked into my room after 1am, then continued into the bathroom where I was showering! I yelled for him to leave and he then went into the bedroom portion! I had to get out of the shower and continue to yell at him for him to leave. He was arguing with me about that being his room. I eventually kicked him out, called security and they came up. They offered me and apology and my room comped. That's it, just the one night. Not any additional nights given, or even our one night upgraded, Not even moved to a different room. This guy saw me naked and thought I was alone, he could've easily came back to my room. It's been over a full week and I have yet to have my room refunded! I guess I'll have to make a phone call. So disappointing!

Overall it wasn't a bad facility. I didn't notice i guess when I booked the room that there wasn't even a small refrigerator in the room. I assumed most rooms have have one, for soda, or water etc. Our air conditioning system wasn't working, but I will say that maintenance came within 15 minutes, knew the problem, and replaced the unit quickly. Our room was never cleaned. I honestly don't know the policy when they are there to clean and we have the do not disturb sign on the door, but when we did leave the room, we were gone all day and into the evening.

The elevators were unique you push the button of the floor you want to go to from the outside and then it tells you which elevator to catch What I didn't like is there is no coffee in the rooms anymore so they can sale their house coffee there is also no refrigerator or microwave

The restaurant was closed. Hot dogs, McDonalds or the high end steak house at night. We went to another casino to eat all our meals. Our room was not cleaned every day even with the make up sign out. There were no Bell hops to help with luggage.

Our room was right above one of the stages on Freemont St. so when bands were playing until 2-3 am it was impossible to sleep. Our TV only had one channel for the first whole day we were there, it took 3 trips to the front desk to get it fixed. It took 2 days to get maid service even though we had the sign on the door. The "deluxe" room was about the quality of a run down low grade chain hotel. Casino bar was fun for video poker, bar service was very good.

Nice hotel good spot right at Freemont clean room. Be prepared it is somewhat loud because of the crowd on Freemont, but for me I slept through it with no problem.

One major flaw there are No microwaves or refrigerators in any of the rooms. With the cost of eating out I would expect this. The pool on site is VERY small. Depending on what floor/room your in you can hear everything out on Fremont street. You can also hear EVERYTHING happening next door. Their is no exhaust fan in the bathroom which I found odd. Service in the casino was another story, we waited for ever for drinks, hardly saw a server and their attitude when they finally came around was terrible!

Great property, great price. Will definitely be back. The only thing I'm Unsatisfied with is the resort fees. The room was only 27.00 but came out of pocket a lot more for deposits and resort fees. I didn't even use the hotel amenities, not even the phone!

Room was basic. Beds are not comfortable. Shower head was great. Fremont street is loud and you can hear it in your room. We stayed on the 16th floor.

The bathroom drain was plugged was hair from previous people. We asked to have new towels and garbage removed and this was not done. The smell is marijuana was horrendous throughout. No coffee pot or fridge in room. Service in McDonald’s was ridiculous - 20 minutes to wait once order was placed.

Used to be a fun casino. Not anymore. Rude bartenders, bored dealers, ONE restaurant and rooms with major plumbing issues. Front desk refuses to accept CASH. Tables games, bars, stores and coffee shop all except cash but front desk... Nope. No hand soap or sanitizer in sight. Never saw anyone clean anything except rooms.

I didn't like the fact you had to pay resort fees and got nothing in return for them. no clean room, no clean towels nothing. i feel we should be entitled for those fees returned to us. you are paying for something and they give you nothing in return. what a rip off. should have stayed at 4 queens they don't charge resort fees. will never stay here again

Keeping in mind that we came from the Venetian and only stayed one night here: I would say the stay was alright. It wasn't anything super special but was good enough. I do like the location as it is on Fremont. However, I did notice that there wasn't an ice machine on our floor and the USB jacks in the dresser were pushed in and broken. Overall the environment was decent but did seem like a kind of beat up place.

My second stay at the D. Great location and layout. The casino is clean and up to date. It does have its minor issues. The rooms need more outlets especially at the nightstand and the sinks, though stylish, drain slow. I do miss the restaurant that used to be on the second floor as the sit down options kind of range from hotdog or steakhouse with not much in between. That said, the location offers plenty of off site dining options though if they kept the old restaurant I’d have spent more money with them. The D is a great option if you are looking to stay downtown.

Stayed in a handicap accessible room. If your in a manual chair it is perfect. Bathroom has a low toilet, roll under sink, roll in shower. Low cabinets for clothes. Bed isn’t tall either. They only have small portable shower benches to use at request. I’m in a power chair so everything was almost to low for me. Made using the toilet actually harder for me. The elevators are pretty dumb. You enter your room number and it tells you which elevator to go to. But if there are 10 people behind you entering their room then once your on the elevator with a quarter of them you end up having to wait for all 10 floors to open. Minimum m tables was kinda pricey compared to other casinos. We ended up going to golden nugget since they were lower. Charged for renting a fridge for your room and no microwave. No coffee pot. Only thing provided was soap and towels. Parking garage was crazy steep. My family had to wait at the front for me to pick them up cause the weight in my van would make it scrap going down the steep corners. All in all it did the trick but probably wouldn’t stay on Fremont street again due to how dirty it was and the amount of crime we saw.

Downtown, also known as “Old Vegas,” is where the city first developed its hotel-casinos in the early 1900s. Downtown is quieter, and more low-key than The Strip, and tends to attract older visitors who are more interested in nickel slots and Keno boards than nightclubs and pool parties. The D, with its come-as-you-are atmosphere and no-frills amenities, seems to epitomize everything visitors love about downtown. Its vintage casino games and nostalgic dining options are aspects that attract repeat visitors year after year, and its affordable nightly rates offer great value for budget-oriented travelers.
The D, like many comparable hotels in Vegas, doesn’t have a formal lobby. Guests enter through the casino, where the check-in desk is situated in the midst of slot machines. The dark, low-ceilinged casino doesn’t make an over-the-top first impression, but that doesn’t seem to stop the throngs of people who pass through during the course of the day.
