2000 Dodge Dakota - A look I love, plenty of motor, and so practical for daily life

I truly love the look of the 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with the XLT package. I particularly love the styling of the wheel well protrusions, particularly for the front wheels. I love the look of the front grill. The truck's profile is pleasing to the eye. The particular truck I have was bought used, and the previous owner had the vehicle stripped of all identifying markers except the symbol that says "V8 Magnum." The clean look, dark tinted windows, spray on bed liner, lowered suspension, and premium alloy wheels give this truck a high-end look. I also love the practicality of the truck. As a father of five, the quad cab is much needed and often used. I found the back seat floor board to be surprisingly spacious. As a father of five, the quad cab is much needed and often used. I found the back seat floor board to be surprisingly spacious. While one sacrifices some bed space because of the four doors, the bed space is adequate for most of my needs. Of course, I find myself using the truck bed constantly, and I am not sure how I functioned without it. The truck has had some mechanical issues over the years, certainly more than I am pleased with. I have replaced both 02 sensors twice, tie rods (in the process ruining two tires that should have still had a year or more of tread on them), then the entire steering system. I have also had to replace the water pump and all the hoses in that system. The compressor went out in the ac system. A year later, the evaporator went out. I have since been without AC as I have not had the money to get it fixed. The truck only has 160,000 miles on it, and really I am not pleased with the number and nature of the needed repairs.

I remember several occasions in the driveway of our home with my son, using the tailgate as a work table for my miter saw as we built the playhouse for my children to use.

I truly love the look of the body style, particularly the wheel well protrusions, front grill, and shape of the hood. I love the spacious nature of the quad cab. I have also found the rear seats lifting up to be a very nice perk. I have been able to store things under them or lift them up to allow for transport of larger items in the back of the cab. I like the power of the V8 Magnum, 4.7L engine. Plenty of get up and go and power to tow trailers and/or boating equipment.

I have been disappointed with the nature and frequency of break downs and other mechanical issues with the truck. The steering and tire rod issue came to be a problem too early in the truck's life, in my opinion. I also had the tail pipe break loose from the muffler, again, I believe earlier than should be expected. The factory sound system in the truck leaves something to be desired as well - really lacks bass responsiveness.

2005 Dodge Dakota - Disappointed

When I first purchased this vehicle I was extremely happy with it. It had about 30,000 miles and ran perfectly. The interior was real nice, electronic windows, locks and mirrors all worked perfectly. About a year into driving the vehicle the panels holding the window and lock switches popped out of the door. I had to essentially glue them back into place. The plastic finish on all the interior panels began to come loose and tear, the driver seat fabric began to rip as well. All of this was with less than 50,000 miles on the vehicle. About a year after I began to have a lot of random issues with the truck. The first thing I had to fix was an airbag sensor in the passenger seat that was causing the vehicle to register an air bag warning. Several months later it developed an exhaust leak ... (more)

The latest issue to spring up is that power mirrors no longer adjust when using the controls. Over all I'd give this vehicle a 3 out of 5 since these are all relatively minor problems, but I did expect more out of Dodge.

Look, it's a sleek looking vehicle Power, even with a V8 4.7L engine this truck will get up and go quick Towing capacity, I haven't found anything this truck couldn't pull that I needed it to.

A lot of minor issues, seems to nickel and dime you to death with a $200 repair 4 times a year or so. Small Bed - Not much room at all in the bed of this truck to carry items. A mattress will not fit with the tailgate up. The back seats are so small, only children can fit

1991 Dodge Dakota - Best little truck ever

I bought the truck from a friend 10 years ago for under two thousand dollars. I have added about one hundred thousand miles since I signed the title in my name. It has been a great truck for it being my first truck. It is a v-8 so it always has had great get up and go. Bench seat is perfect for just my son and I.

It is close to becoming a historical vehicle. Very easy to maintain, and yes since I am a woman I can say that because yes I have changed my oil, and then some. My little Dakota has been all throughout my state of Arizona where heat is sometimes a factor with car performance, but not my baby. She had held together very well, even when a mini van changed lines into me. She got front side driver panel damaged some, and the mini van lets just say, complete side slider door will never open again for the van.

The extended cab to fit 5 people would have been nice, along with the rear sliding window. But like I said it used when I purchased it off a friend. Not really any cons, as long I keep her oil clean and pay attention to any small noises, and know her insides and out, to detect any prevailing dangers, or any tuning up needed before its too late and make thing a large repair bill.

Be Smart, Check in Advance. CARFAX — Your Vehicle History.

CARFAX — Your Vehicle History Expert

Sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you, but that's not the case when buying a used car. As an independent vehicle history provider, at CARFAX we've made it our mission to tell you everything you need to know by uncovering as many events as possible from the previous life of a used car. Our primary goal is to help you get to know your next car from the inside out before deciding to make an investment that will be part of you and your family's everyday life. We believe your next car shouldn't be hiding anything from you.

CARFAX Vehicle History Reports contain over 28 billion historical records from 20 European countries, the US and Canada, which are updated daily with new information.

Even if you live in a country we don't collect vehicle data from, it's still always worth checking the Vehicle Identification Number without obligation. The used car import and export market is booming and many owners would be surprised to find out exactly what happened to their vehicle during its previous life abroad.

Privacy for Customers — Transparency over Vehicles

Let's be clear: Although we strive to find every detail of a vehicle's life so far, we are focused only on the vehicle's history, and do not collect any information on previous owners. The information we provide relates solely to the vehicle, its odometer reading, any accidents that have been covered up, where the vehicle comes from and much more — it never gets personal. We've uncovered irreparable damage several times in the past, but other times our vehicle history checks draw a blank — and sometimes that's actually a good thing.

Second Hand — Not Second Best

Did you know that considerably more used cars are sold than new cars? We think this second-hand system is nothing short of fantastic. However, it goes without saying that it gives rise to different methods and tactics: Some sellers will disguise a car that's been in an accident under a fresh coat of paint, tamper with the odometer or conceal theft. This is one of the less appealing aspects of buying second hand. Our goal is to establish trusting relationships between buyers and sellers, since this is the best way to help customers make the right decision. Your new car should be reliable and make you feel safe, as well as make you feel like you haven't paid too much.

But more than anything else, we don't want you or your family unknowingly sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle that isn't 100% safe. This is why we strive to take these vehicles off the road, which not only makes the used car market safer but our streets safer too.

CARFAX — 35+ Years of Experience in Vehicle Histories

CARFAX was founded in the US in 1984 and expanded into Europe in 2007. Around 100 team members spread across six European offices process vehicle information from 22 countries.

Fostering strategic partnerships with registration authorities, law enforcement agencies, government departments, insurance companies, inspection centers and numerous other leading companies around the world has enabled us to compile a unique international database for vehicle histories. We use this database to help make the used car market more transparent. We give everyone in the process of buying a used car access to what is currently the world's most comprehensive source for vehicle history reports, and is growing day by day.

We remain neutral and independent despite our partnerships — our sole purpose is help customers make an informed choice and ensure their safety and the safety of their family. This includes never collecting any personal details — we do not accept any PII from data sources amongst the information we provide about a vehicle. We ensure that data protection laws are observed at all times. Furthermore, we always collect our data in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — in all the countries in which we are active. We expressly distance ourselves from illegal activities such as data theft, scraping and hacking.

Dodge Dakota with Viper engine for sale on Craigslist

Got $23,000 burning a hole in your pocket? How do you feel about severe oversteer? Do you, in any way, value your life? And how close do you live to Boise, Idaho?

Depending on your answers to these questions, you may want to buy the 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport powered by a Viper V-10 for sale on Craigslist.

Vipers are hard enough to handle and they've been built to deal with the power and torque of their V-10 engines. Now imagine all that muscle under the hood of a pickup truck with no weight on the rear end. It's recipe for insanity. And now it can be your insanity.

The seller of this truck says it was professionally fabricated to fit the V-10 under the hood. The transmission is the Viper's 6-speed manual. Additional oil coolers were needed, and the suspension is a Hotchkis package with sway bars. The front brakes are larger, but there is no mention of bigger rear brakes. The owner says it makes 350 horsepower at the wheels with 460 pound-feet of torque.

Our friendly owner also says the tonneau cover helps with weight for traction. The thing must weigh 600 pounds.

The truck has 43,500 miles on the odometer, and about 20,000 of those were driven with the Viper mill making things crazy.

From the looks of things in the pictures, it appears to be in decent shape. Roll the dice and take your chance, if you want.

We went to the old football field and she put her hand under my shirt. The very thought that I am now in such an impudent way, I can cheat on my girlfriend, with whom I only recently slept for the. First time, aroused me even more than in the morning. If I started to hesitate, I would seem like a brake, so without the slightest hesitation I stretched the width on her jeans and thrust my hand into.

Her panties.

Julia, clearly teasing Maxim, looked at the guy, frankly bending and twisting her hips. Her tender fingers gently touched her chest, making her erect nipples even more noticeable. Then her arms sank onto graceful slender legs. Succumbing to the rhythms of the dance, playing even more with the guy's imagination, her hands crawled up, dragging the airy hem with it, exposing her legs more and more.

It seemed, just a little more, and Max's gaze, and not only, would stick to a neat triangle of female pubic hair.
